Citywide Lemon-Aid Stand Tradition Continues Labor Day Weekend Starting With Special TU Football Tailgate and Volunteer Kick-Off Events

What:    Two amazing events to start Lemon-Aid 2023 this Labor Day Weekend! 

1. Tailgate at TU! Cool off with a refreshing glass of lemonade as the Golden Hurricane start their football season. The Lemon-Aid Project and University of Tulsa Athletics will be hosting a special tailgate tent serving up ice cold glasses of lemonade.
2. The Kick-Off Celebration at Mother Road Market! Music, games, a punch wall with prizes and, of course, Lemon-Aid. Volunteers can pick up their Lemon-Aid Kit, and those interested can sign up while supplies last. 

Where:    Tailgating at University of Tulsa (Chapman Commons - 800 South Tucker Drive, Tulsa, OK 74104)
                 Kick-Off at Mother Road Market (1124 South Lewis Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74104)

​When:        Tailgating on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 3:30pm - 6:30pm 
                    Kick-Off on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm

Who:    Everyone in the Tulsa area is invited!

Why:    Through a simple childhood tradition, kids across Tulsa are raising money for local charities, while learning the fundamentals of business, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy — setting our kids and communities on the path for success. We provide the materials (lemonade, cups, official t-shirt and poster) and youth provide the creativity, energy and time!  

Photo Oppt:    During both at the tailgating event at TU and the Kick-Off event at Mother Road Market (Demo Kitchen and Mural) as well as throughout the Labor Day Weekend. Locations of select volunteer stands can also be made available.
