ABOUT LINDSEY HOUSE
EMPOWERING FAMILIES ON THEIR JOURNEY TO INDEPENDENCE Lindsey House provides long-term shelter and supportive services to women caring for children. The strength of Lindsey House is its intensive one-on-one teaching, which includes financial literacy education, life skills and job training, and meal planning and nutrition education. Families typically live at Lindsey House an average of 16 months -- a long-term solution that is needed to address the complexity of the problem. Lindsey House mothers graduate able to support themselves, care for their children and become productive, contributing members of the community.
