Once you've made the commitment and signed up to be a Lemon-Aid stand volunteer, one of the first things you could decide is your location.  Where are you going to get the most foot traffic? Make sure to be safe, especially in locations with lots of cars! Also keep in mind that the location traffic may be different since it is a holiday weekend. If you are staying in your neighborhood, is your front yard the best spot? Or do you have a public park or common area that gets more people? If you want to be in front of a business, get their permission in advance! Talk to your teachers, parents/guardians to see if they might have some ideas for where is best.

Then see how you can apply those things in various parts of your life (class, work, volunteering, relationships, etc). Now that you have focus and purpose, make a commitment. Set goals and timelines related to your favorite things. How can you accomplish these goals? What/who can keep you accountable? For Lemon-Aid specifically, sign up for your stand and set your own goals. What do you want to achieve over Labor Day Weekend? How much money do you want to raise? Is there anything beyond fundraising that you want to accomplish?
