Satellite Stands at a Glance
What is a Satellite Stand?
Lemon-Aid at a Tulsa Landmark.
One of the biggest things we learned in 2023 was the power of community. The most successful stands weren't just one child or one family — they were neighbors, classmates, and organizations coming together as a "super-stand."
So in 2024 — our 30th anniversary — we piloted Satellite Stands at iconic Tulsa locations: Expo Square, Philbrook, and Southwood Landscaping. The response was huge. In 2025 we expanded to include two Mattress Firm locations. For 2026, we're growing again with 3–4 confirmed landmark locations.
Each Satellite Stand has a presenting sponsor, a volunteer team, and is connected to families across the city looking for a great Labor Day Weekend experience.
How It Works
-
1
The Location Partner
The landmark location encourages staff to volunteer, provides a liaison, and promotes the stand and sign-ups on-site in advance of Labor Day Weekend.
-
2
The Volunteer Team
An organization or family leads the coordination of the stand and provides the majority of the volunteers. All minors must be accompanied by a guardian.
-
3
Lemon-Aid Connects the Rest
We connect families from across Tulsa who want to volunteer at a landmark location — making sure every Satellite Stand is buzzing with energy and purpose.
